Claremont’s Cruise Night Is Coming Up!

Saturday’s coming and so is Claremont’s Cruise Night! Cruise Night is a wonderful Spring through Summertime event that is sponsored by the Village Grille and happens on the second Saturday of every month from March to October.

Cruise Night has been a labor of love for Sandy Coglietti the owner of the Village Grille (148 Yale Ave. Claremont CA 91711-4722 909-626-8813 on the corner of Yale and 2nd streets in the Village) since the beginning. It started as a way for Sandy and her Late husband Ron to combine two of their loves, running a real 50’s style diner and classic cars.

The Cruise Night is part car show and part classic cruise, it starts with a show and ends with a parade of the winning cars right down Yale Avenue.

The cars are on display from 5 PM to 8 PM and the entire event is free for all that participate. The car owner’s pay nothing to show off their rides and participate in the show and there is no admission to admire these beauties.

With a DJ right there on the sidewalk spinning classic tunes from the 40’s to the ’70’s the mood is set for a really good evening and a walk back in time. Bring your family. This is a wonderful event for all ages.

Even if you are not a classic car buff, just come down to enjoy the atmosphere, poke around in the eclectic shops and enjoy a meal at Village Grille. They always run a Cruise Night special and they have awesome hand scooped shakes, malts, sundaes and floats.

So come on down and Cruise the Night away at Claremont’s Cruise Night. Maybe I’ll see you there!
