Claremont’s Artwalk Is Friday June 1st

    By Tisza Major-Posner | May 30, 2007

    Hi All,

Friday, June 1 from 5 PM to 8:30 PM the place to be is the downtown Claremont Village for the Artwalk. Artwalk is a unique event. Local artists are invited to show and their wares and are placed at different businesses throughout the Village. Most stores also offer light refreshments and sometimes even sales to coincide with the event.

There are musicians who help to set the mood and truly something for everyone to enjoy. Jewelry, sculpture, paintings, glasswork, pottery and many other artistic pursuits are on display.

Different shops take part in the event each month so the best thing to do is to grab a program from a participating vendor (Sonja Stump’s Photography and Jacquelines Home Interiors are usually both participating) and follow the map telling you what artist you can find where. Or, just look for the balloons.

The Artwalk is held on the first Friday of every month. Maybe I’ll see you there.

Take care, help lots of people and have a wonderful day,
