Claremont Happily Goes To The Dogs…

    By Tisza Major-Posner | April 24, 2007

Cute dogAs anyone who lives in Claremont already knows, this city is a great place for pets and their owners. With tree-lined streets perfect for long, leisurely walks, pet friendly businesses and grassy parks aplenty, Claremont offers pet people a very welcoming environment to settle in, and amenities not available in most other cities.

In 1996 Claremont created it’s very first Pooch Park. Located within College Park at 100 S. College Avenue, Claremont, CA, 91711, just south of the MetroLink tracks, Claremont’s Pooch Park offers a safe place for pet owners to allow their four legged friends the freedom to run legally leash free.

College Park is three baseball fields, one family picnic area, one playground and one off-leash dog area all wrapped up in 8.2 acres of family friendly fun.

College Park is also the home of the Claremont Little League.

So the next time your entire family, four-legged and two, are looking for a place everyone can enjoy together, head to the Claremont Pooch Park.

    Maybe I’ll see you there!

Take care, help lots of people and have a wonderful day!

That is absolutely the cutest dog. I love that the dog park is called the Pooch Park.
